Haiti Relief Efforts

The UCC has launched an emergency appeal for Haiti after a major earthquake struck the country on January 12th. Thousands of people are feared dead and countless have been left homeless.  It is still too early to know the full extent of the damage, but a very high loss of life, widespread destruction of homes, schools and other buildings, and major damage to key water, electricity and road systems are expected.  Funds are being rushed to our Haitian partners to support their initial emergency response.    The need is massive! 

Please pray for the people of Haiti, their leaders, and aid workers, and support the Haiti relief offertory on 1/31 and 2/7.  Checks should be made payable to “Church of Christ.”  Thank you!
