Stewardship Sunday Pledge Kickoff

For 2010

Battell Chapel worshippers on October 18th concluded a meaningful morning service by bringing their 2010 pledge commitments to the altar.  According to our Collector, 30 pledges were received totaling $49,762 in support of  the church operating budget for next year.  For all church members and friends who were unable to pledge on Stewardship Sunday, we are including a 2010 pledge card and some useful information in our “Pledging at Church of Christ” leaflet (see page 3 of this issue of The Chimes). 

We approach 2010 with excitement, anticipating continuation of the spiritual renewal so evident in our community this past year.  Returning a pledge card is a very important way to support the mission of our church.  The Trustees will soon be going to work to plan the budget for carrying out this mission in 2010.  All pledge information, even notice of inability to participate, helps in making our plans for ministry and programs.
