Click here to see photos of the Giv2 event at the Open Door on January 8, 2012. "This is a group of about 40 people from youth groups around the NW corner. We painted the walls of The Open Door. It was a fabulous day. Representing our church were Jake Green, Julie and Mariah Green, Kaitlyn and Dexter Weaver, Abby Tullock, Tanner Schuler, Reg Denny, Sara Frieze, Hillary Kelsey and myself."

Giv2 is Beginning Year Two
Giv2 is a youth organization for kids in grades 7-12. Kids - and adult chaperones - from 10 UCC churches around the NW corner join together 4 to 5 times a year to perform service projects in our local area. Several other Giv2 chapters throughout CT are joining forces to make our world a better place. Our chapter's first fall event is planned for 9/24 when we will travel to Silver Lake to help them prepare for the winter. We arrive at Silver Lake in time for lunch and work for several hours - aiming to be back in Norfolk about 5PM. Please consider joining us in our quest to help others in our own backyard.
