END HUNGER ONE STEP AT A TIME – Crop Walk 9/11/2011

Following Rally Day worship and lunch on the Green, please join together in our church’s effort to “Feed the Hungry.” Both 1/2 and 5 mile walks are planned, allowing ALL of us to participate together. Activities, info, and a snack will be provided. Get started recruiting walkers today.
The top three pledgers will recive a Church of Christ Crop Walk medal. Visit the Crop Walk table following worship to get a pledge envelope or pledge on line at wwwcropwalkonline.org. Then, encourage friends and family to support or join you walking. Call 542-5721 with questions.

CROP WALK THANKS is extended to All of you who walked and contributed to the Sept. 11th CROP WALK, helping to ensure its success. A total of $1,096 has been collected to date! Additional thanks is extended to Meghan Link and Holly Durstin-Olson for planning the route, Great Mountain Forrest for trail use of Tobey Pond, Kendra and Meghan Link for installing signage along the 5-mile route, Lyn Patrick for manning the midway check point, Corey Bush & Friends and Liz Allyn for arranging the music on The Green, Barb Gomez & committee for set-up and refreshments, members of the Missions Committee who assisted in early registration, and to all who helped clean-up after the event. Thanks also to Jan and Felix Graham-Jones for water!!
