New "Shepherd" Ministry Launched
Church of Christ is beginning a new initiative called the Shepherd Ministry to increase contact and strengthen relationships between members. This program is an offshoot of the Deacons. Presently, there are 10 Shepherds each with 12 and 15 members (individuals or families) in their "flock" or caring group. The purpose of this ministry is to strengthen our ministry of caring for each other and provide members with someone (their Shepherd) they may contact if they have a need or become aware of someone in need of outreach and care. If you have questions about this ministry, please contact John Thew or Pastor Erick.

2010 Annual Meeting Voting Results for Cottage Meeting Ideas
Following is a copy of an Email message Church Annual Meeting: Voting Results from John Bourdeaux and Kate Persons. Click here to see the the voting results for the ideas gathered during the recent Cottage Meetings. Your feedback on these results should be addressed to johnbourdeaux@gmail.com.
Dear Friends, Attached please find the results from the voting that occurred this past Sunday at the church's annual meeting. As you will recall, we took the results of the cottage meeting process and combined it with additional feedback to create a list of priorities for the church moving forward into our 251st year. Attendees were given the opportunity to cast eight votes in favor of the 47 priorities. The Church Council has already begun a conversation about the voting results and has started to engage relevant committees in appropriate conversations. We would also welcome any additional feedback or thoughts that you might have. If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this e-mail or contact us directly. Thank you. Cottage Meeting Results
Following is a copy of Email from Rev. Erick Olsen (June 17, 2010). Click here to see the document which was attached to the original Email..
Please find below an important forwarded message (with an attachment) and invitation concerning our recent cottage meetings and our Annual Meeting on Sunday 6/27 at 11:30 AM:
Dear Friends,
Over the course of several weeks, many of you have come to a home or to the church to share your thoughts about and aspirations for our church as we head into the 251st year of our existance.
Attached is a copy of the results of this effort. (See the end of this e-mail for instructions about PDF files.) The document contains as many ideas as we could record (so you might find one idea contradicting another). We are now inviting you to respond to these thoughts. We would like to make sure that everyone has given their input. If you would like to add something to the list, please contact John Bourdeaux at johnbourdeaux@gmail.com.
Once the ideas are collected, we will then seek to prioritize them at our annual church meeting on SUNDAY, JUNE 27TH AT 11:30 A.M. PLEASE plan to attend this important meeting to help shape our direction as we begin our journey into the next 250 years!
Thank you.
