Church of Christ will host a dinner on Friday, November 16, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. in Battell Chapel, to thank supporters of this summer’s work camp trip to Washington, DC.  Please join us!

Mission Trip

July 22nd - 28th, 2007

Church of Christ will send 38 workcampers to Washington DC this summer to take part in inner-city outreach service programs through Youth Services Opportunities Project (YSOP).  The group includes Stephen Bazzano, Emily Couch, Chris Davidson, Mary Gollan, Becky Bruey, Ben Hinman, Kati Hinman, Georgia Johnston, Robert Carter, Will Kelsey, Zack Kelsey, Cody McClave, Shanley McClave, Schuyler Metcalf, Ethan Couch, Emma Peterson, Molly Peterson, Jake Riiska, Chris Sinclair, Norah Hanley, Chris Laudati, Adam Torrant, Daniel Torrey, Jessica Laudati, Elise Wignall, Ryan Long, Wyatt McCurdy, Eric Metcalf, Kyle Sinclair, Leona Alley, Amber Barry, Suzanne Hinman, Bill Kelsey, Lisa McClave, Erick Olsen, Mike Sinclair, Mary Louise Torrant and Holly Williams. 

If you would like to support this trip, please talk to any of the youth or adults above or call the church office, 542-5721.  All group members are selling shares for $25 each – those who purchase shares to help pay for the trip will receive a postcard during the trip as well as an invitation to the Thank-You Dinner in the fall.  Please pray that this group has a safe and meaningful trip.   u

Youth Group Car Wash

 Saturday, May 26th, 9 AM

     Fund raising is increasingly on the minds of all those who will be participating in this summer’s Youth Group Workcamp.   Approximately $450 will be needed per camper to cover the basics of housing for six nights, program fees, food, and bus/train transportation for this year’s trip. Many campers have already raised money through several fundraising events and by selling “shares.” Thanks go out to those of you who have already bought shares and attended our past fundraisers!

      As Memorial Day approaches, the group is looking forward to holding a Bake Sale and Car Wash on Saturday, May 26th, beginning at 9 a.m.  The bake sale will be held in front of the Norfolk Corner Store, while the car wash will be held in the rear parking lot of the Church of Christ. We hope you will take advantage of the wide assortment of home baked goodies, and the close attention that will be given to your vehicles! Questions?
