March Madness

Family Basketball Night

Friday, 03/28, 7-8:30 PM

We’ll have a 3-on-3 tournament with teams that must include mixed gender and at least 25 years between two players. Teams can be families or a mixture. Cost to play is $3 per person, which covers prizes for all and a trophy for the champs. Tournament will be held at Botelle School, Norfolk.

Broadway Night, Battell Chapel

Friday, April 4th, 7PM

Come enjoy a relaxed evening of entertainment set in café-style. Young and old alike will regale the audience with Broadway favorites. Desserts and beverages will be provided by the Youth Group. Suggested donation is $10. Proceeds will benefit the Youth Group’s commitment to the capital campaign.

The Substance Abuse Action Council of Central Connecticut (which includes the Northwest Corner) is offering a $500 scholarship to a high school senior to be awarded based on a student's involvement in substance abuse prevention activities. Applicants must be enrolling in a post-secondary program that will award either a 2-year or 4-year degree. The application deadline is April 4, 2008 -- download the application directly from the SAAC website at www.saacct.org.
