Strawberry Festival June 25, 2006Thanks to all who participated in the annual Strawberry Shortcake Festival last Sunday. There was rain outside but there was plenty of delicious food and fellowship in the Chapel dining room. The turnout of volunteer workers was fantastic! Saturday morning we had 2 strawberry haulers and 21 people slicing berries. Sunday morning we had 12 people baking biscuits. Sunday afternoon we had 6 people whipping cream and serving, as well as many others doing set up and cashier and raffle ticket and selling on the Green and clean up duties.
